CITY GARDEN
CHISWICK 2
CHISWICK 2, LONDON
The clients were longing for a garden filled with plants. The garden room was to be hidden. The design would also include a dining area and a lounging area in the morning sun at the end of the garden. In the new layout, the sitting area by the house follow a circular pattern and is paved with stone setts, a first planting bed is created by the house as a foreground. Large planting beds slightly domed have been created on both sides of a sinuous lawn to break up the view to the garden room. Large specimens also hide the back of the garden. A large built-in wooden bench in a U pattern offers a lounging area amongst planting in the morning-midday sun. The planting scheme includes several year long interest combinations of texture and colour. The fences will be hidden in time by a vast selection of flowering climbers.
